WBSSC Assistant Teachers Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 35,726 Posts
The West Bengal Central School Service Commission (WBSSC) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 35,726 Assistant Teachers for classes IX to XII. Eligible candidates can apply online at westbengalssc.com from 16 June 2025 to 14 July 2025.
Vacancy Details:
- Assistant Teachers (Classes IX-X/ Secondary): 23,212
- Assistant Teachers (Classes XI-XII/ Higher Secondary): 12,514
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- Graduate / Post Graduate with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation and B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
- OR 4-year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed from any NCTE recognized institution.
- Age Limit: 21 to 40 years
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 8 years for PH candidates
Salary:
- As per extant State Government norms.

- General & OBC: Rs. 500/-
- SC/ST/PH: Rs. 200/-
