Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) has released a recruitment notification for 171 posts including Junior Overman and Mining Sirdar. Eligible candidates with relevant qualifications can apply online through nlcindia.in from 15 April 2025 to 04 June 2025.

- Junior Overman: 69 posts
- Mining Sirdar: 102 posts
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Diploma in Mining or any graduate with required competency certificates from DGMS
- Additional Certificates: Valid First Aid Certificate, Overman/Mining Sirdar Competency from DGMS
- Age Limit:
UR/EWS – Max 30 years
OBC – Max 33 years
SC/ST – Max 35 years
Salary
- Junior Overman (Trainee): ₹31,000 – ₹1,00,000 (S1 Grade)
- Mining Sirdar (Selection Grade-I): ₹26,000 – ₹1,10,000 (SG1 Grade)
Selection Process
Selection will be based on a written test (100 marks, no negative marking). Bonus marks applicable for Project Affected Persons (PAPs). Final merit will be based on written test scores plus applicable bonus marks.
