Govt Job: Indian Air Force AFCAT – 284 Officer Posts, Apply from June 2

Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) notification for recruitment of 284 Commissioned Officers. Applications can be submitted via the official website afcat.cdac.in. The course will commence in July 2026.

Vacancy Details

  • Flying Branch: 3 posts
  • Ground Duty (Technical): 156 posts
  • Ground Duty (Non-Technical): 125 posts

Educational Qualification

  • Flying Branch (AFCAT/NCC Entry):
    • 12th with Physics & Math (50% minimum)
    • Graduation (any stream) with 60% or
    • BE/B.Tech with 60%
  • Ground Duty (Technical):
    • 12th with Physics & Math (50%)
    • 4-year Engineering/Technology degree
  • Ground Duty (Non-Technical):
    • Graduation with 60% in relevant discipline

Age Limit

  • Flying Branch: 20 – 24 years (Born between 2 July 2002 to 1 July 2006)
  • Ground Duty (Tech/Non-Tech): 20 – 26 years (Born between 2 July 2000 to 1 July 2006)
  • Relaxation as per government norms

Application Fee

  • AFCAT Entry: ₹550 + GST
  • NCC Special Entry: Free

Salary

  • ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 per month

  • Written Exam (AFCAT)
  • AFSB Interview
  • Medical Test
  • Final Merit List
